Company History
Three partners established the company in 1986. In 1999, one of the partners retired and was bought out by the other two partners. Currently the President is responsible for sales and purchasing. The Vice President is responsible for office and plant operations. Both owners are assisted by the VP’s son, who handles duties which include but are not limited to, plant and field supervision, shop and building maintenance, and 401 administration, as well as other office, shop, and field responsibilities.

Business Summary and Services
Initially, the company was primarily a commercial fabricator/installer who employed as many as 16 union installers. As commercial margins grew smaller and the slow payout cycles of the commercial contractors hurt the bottom line, they phased out the commercial work and pursued private residential work. Initially the concentration of work was kitchen and bath remodels as well as some new construction for select builders.

As time evolved the market was impacted by a dramatic influx of fabricators, some good, most bad, between 2000 and 2005. Margins again dropped while this action played itself out. What once was a prestigious commodity was bargain shopped by the mass markets. There was little or no knowledge by the consumer, as to the quality of the material, or the level of workmanship. The company decided not to compete in this market and worked through this phenomenon concentrating on their customer base.

Over the last ten years, the company has focused on residential fabrication and installation for well respected, award winning architects, designers, builders, and quality driven end users.

The involvement of the company’s clientele base can best be appreciated by the following list of architects, designers, and clients they have worked for:

Architects – Marvin Herman & Associates, Peter Marino, Eric Smith & Associates, Grunsfeld/Shafer, Gibbons/Fortman, Booth Hansen, Kathryn Quinn

Designers – Cannon Frank, Tracy Hickman Design, Holly Hunt, Arlene Semel, Marshall Erb, Dan Dubay, Carlos Martinez, Bruce Gregga
